My dear parishioners:
With much joy we are once again open for mass, and our regular mass schedule has resumed.
One change that the government has made is that attendance is now capped at 15% of capacity for places of worship in the Grey Zone designated by the Province of Ontario – as we are currently in the Grey Zone, the maximum number of parishioners allowed to attend mass at Nativity is 150.
Eventbrite registration for the following weekend’s masses (Saturday 5 pm, Sunday 9 am and 11:30 am) will start on Monday at 10 am using this link: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/nativity-weekend-masses-tickets-110003238648 Registration for these masses will close 4 hours before the start of the mass. All who have registered will enter the church using the 2 steel doors just to the left of the parish office entrance. These doors will be open 30 minutes before the start of mass.
No registration is required for our weekday masses of Monday 9:30 am; Tuesday 7 pm; Wednesday 7 pm; and Thursday and Friday 9:30 am masses. The entrance for the weekday masses is the west side door facing the grass field.
We will continue to livestream a Sunday mass, alternating between the 9 am and 11:30am mass. Please see the post Nativity of Our Lord (myparish.org) for more details.
Peace and prayers,
Fr. Michael Machacek
