Dear Parishioners,
During this time, our Youth Ministry looks a little different. Yes, churches are closed but the Church is open. We are here to journey through the storm with the young people of our parish community. Even though we cannot physically gather, we can certainly meet virtually!
Starting this week, we've got something everyday for our EDGErs and LifeTeen-ers. We will be praying the rosary and divine mercy chaplet daily; I will be hosting a 'Youth Office' hour for them to pop in to say hi, play a game, chat about the show they're watching etc; Thursdays, we will meet for Lectio Divina with the upcoming Sunday's readings; and on Sundays, we have the opportunity to tune into both LifeTeen & ProjectYM's livestream youth nights and then have small group time with our Nativity family afterwards. I'm very thankful for technology to allow us to be creative in continuing our mission online. There is no better time than now to draw closer to Jesus. I have updated the "Resources" tab on our Youth Ministry website for some ideas to help you keep yours and your family's faith alive at home. God is with us. Have hope. Trust in Him.
